Local Delivery & Installation Policy

Last Updated: March 3, 2026. This policy applies exclusively to Local Delivery services within the Calgary region and forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Service Area & Base Pricing

We offer Local Delivery within the Calgary area. Standard Local Delivery Fee: CAD $150 per delivery.

  • Garage entrance
  • Driveway
  • Apartment parking stall

This service does not include basement delivery, upper floor delivery, stair carry, or elevator transport beyond the parking level.

Orders exceeding CAD $3,000 (before tax) qualify for free standard Local Delivery (garage or parking level only).

2. Additional Delivery Charges
  • Basement delivery: + CAD $150 per delivery
  • Apartment delivery: + CAD $20 per floor

Additional fees are determined prior to order confirmation.

3. Delivery Timeline

All Calgary Local Deliveries are completed within three (3) business days after order confirmation. Customers will be contacted in advance to confirm delivery timing.

Business days exclude weekends and statutory holidays. Delivery timelines may be affected by force majeure events, including severe weather conditions in Alberta.

4. Risk Transfer

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer once the goods are delivered to the agreed location. Fitness Canada™ is not responsible for structural limitations, space restrictions, or post-delivery handling.

Installation services do not extend liability beyond equipment assembly.

5. Site Requirements (Customer Responsibility)
  • Clear and unobstructed access paths
  • Safe stairways
  • Functional elevator access (if applicable)
  • Adequate floor load capacity
  • Sufficient ceiling height
  • Adequate clearance space for equipment

Failure to meet site requirements may result in additional charges or service cancellation.

6. Property Damage Disclaimer
  • Floor scratches
  • Wall damage
  • Door frame damage
  • Elevator damage
  • Cosmetic surface marks
  • Structural stress to flooring

Customers are advised to prepare protective coverings prior to delivery.

7. Installation Services

Installation Fee: CAD $450 per equipment unit. Installation services include assembly only.

  • No structural reinforcement
  • No electrical modification
  • No floor modification
  • No structural anchoring unless agreed in writing
  • No custom mounting or commercial retrofitting

Commercial installations may require a separate written agreement.

Upon completion, customers must inspect the equipment. Risk transfers after acceptance, and usage is governed by our Terms of Service.

8. Missed Delivery & Rescheduling
  • Delivery fee is non-refundable
  • Rescheduling requires a new delivery fee
  • Repeated failed attempts may result in cancellation
9. Weather & Force Majeure

Delivery may be delayed due to severe weather, road safety concerns, government restrictions, or other force majeure events. Fitness Canada reserves the right to reschedule for safety reasons.

10. Insurance

Fitness Canada™ maintains commercial insurance for delivery operations. Coverage does not extend to customer property damage, improper site preparation, or post-installation misuse.
